Tessitura serves more than 800 arts and culture organizations across 10 countries. The Product Innovation Council ensures that what we build reflects where the sector is headed, not just where it's been.

This isn't a focus group or advisory board. Council members engage as strategic thought partners with Tessitura’s product leadership. They inform questions about the long-term future of arts and culture technology beyond immediate roadmap decisions. Members meet quarterly (virtually) and serve as Tessitura product ambassadors in the broader community. Terms are 36 months, with staggered appointments to ensure continuity.

Manager, IT Business Partner
Arts Centre Melbourne
Victoria, Australia

Ally Murphy works at the intersection of technology and the arts, bringing a dual perspective shaped by roles across major institutional venues and independent music festivals. This breadth has given her a clear view of where technical capability and creative practice often diverge.

Working within the Australian arts sector, Ally is attuned to the regional, seasonal and funding realities that distinguish local organisations from their northern hemisphere counterparts. Having worked across both front-facing artist services and behind-the-scenes production and IT roles, she has spent her career translating between what technology can do and what creative teams actually need, with a particular interest in how accessible, flexible design benefits everyone.

Ally previously mentored arts organisations through a national digital strategist residency program and stays connected to the sector through ongoing arts technology communities. She is guided by the belief that there is no single right way to support the sector, only better ways to serve the extraordinary variety of ways people create connections through art.
