Public transport directions
The nearest train station is Newcastle Central Station. From the station, cross the Tyne Bridge over the river to Gateshead. The nearest Metro Station is Gateshead Interchange.

Car park
The Glasshouse International Center for Music has its own car park located behind the venue. The postcode for the car park is different from the one listed in the building address. If you plan to park, please use the postcode NE8 2BA for directions.
Parking fees:
- Any stay for less than 30 minutes is free. You may submit your parking ticket to the machine when leaving.
- Any stay from 30 minutes up to two hours is £1.90 per hour. Please pay at the machines by the stairs before leaving.
- For stays longer than two hours, we recommend prepaying. For a flat fee of £4.80, you can stay until 6am the next day. For this option, prepay at the machines by the stairs before entering. (If you don’t, you’ll charged that £1.90 per hour rate for however long you stay.)
