v16 upgrade overview

We have recently edited and updated the v16 upgrade overview webinar recording to provide up-to-date information for your v16 upgrade. We have also edited the presentation and the frequently asked questions.

The original version of the webinar stated a target date for the majority of member upgrades. As more organizations have adopted v16, we have learned more about the v16 upgrade process. Based on the valuable feedback that we’ve received during this process, we are focusing our efforts on ensuring every organization has a high-quality upgrade experience. Prioritizing high quality means understanding when v16, and the timing, is right for each member. As a result, we have removed the target date from our planning and from the webinar.

We are still in the early phases of general release of v16. This means we are building on features, improvements and fixes with each dot release. We want you to adopt v16 when you feel ready and able to. We will keep you informed of a sunset date for v15.2 and TNEW v7 with plenty of notice. If you have questions about your timeline, please open a support ticket.

Prepare

We value delivering the most accurate information possible. Not everyone will be ready or able to upgrade immediately. Your timing will depend on your use of customizations and products and/or features that may not be available yet. Upcoming fixes and availability in the upgrade schedule will also be a consideration. You may have larger organizational priorities, projects or specific windows that will affect your upgrade timeline too.
