Privacy Policy: By submitting your registration, you consent to the Tessitura Privacy Policy. When you register, an account will be created in our conference application with all of the information that you entered. This account will allow you access to the platform, which includes the attendees list to network before, during and after the event. Your data will be given to Swapcard, our partner and editor of our digital platform. Your data will be protected and not commercialised. You have the right to access your data, as well as to edit or delete it. Code of Conduct: The Tessitura Learning & Community Conference is dedicated to fostering a positive, safe and harassment-free conference experience for everyone. Our full conference code of conduct can be found here.

Payments: Please note that a credit card will be needed in order to complete your registration. If you are unable to process the transaction via credit card and need to use an alternate payment method, please contact us through the TLCC assistance form. Conference registration fees must be paid in full before attendees can collect their badges or gain access to the conference app.

Refunds & Cancellations: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the TLCC assistance form. Cancellations received through 17 October 2023 will incur a AU$145 administrative fee. Cancellations received after 17 October are not eligible for a refund. Substitutions are only possible until 27 October 2023, after which point changes to registrations will not be accepted.

A note about conference media

Tessitura will use various media (including photos and video) to record and comment on parts of the Conference experience and will use these media in marketing and promotional materials. Conference attendees agree to allow photos and other media created about and taken during the conference to be used for promotional purposes.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER AGREEMENT REGARDING COVID-19

COVID-19 is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease declared by the World Health Organization to be a global pandemic. Information about COVID-19 is continually evolving and subject to change. COVID-19's highly contagious nature means that contact with others or contact with surfaces that have been exposed to the virus can lead to infection. Additionally, individuals who may have been infected with COVID-19 may be asymptomatic for a period of time or may never become symptomatic. By choosing to attend an in-person event with the full understanding of the inherent risks of such a decision and acknowledge and agree as follows:

• I am aware of the inherent risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus involved in attending the in-person 2023 Tessitura Learning and Community Conference (“TLCC”/”Event”) and that COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.
• Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19. Tessitura cannot ensure that you will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 as a result of participating in this Event or related activities. By registering/attending this Event, you acknowledge and understand all risks associated with possible exposure to and contraction of COVID-19 and are voluntarily participating in the Event for your own benefit, the value of which is sufficient consideration for your voluntary execution of this agreement.
• All conference participants — including sponsors, guest speakers, lecturers, exhibitors and conference attendees — will be required to comply with Tessitura’s policy and the laws, rules, regulations, orders and ordinances required at the time of the conference. Tessitura will continue to monitor guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic updating policies as needed and will apprise participants of the preventative measures (collectively “Measures”) required in advance of the conference. By registering for the conference, I agree to abide by all preventative measures (collectively “Measures”) put in place by Tessitura, its respective employees, agents, contractors and volunteers at any time prior to and during the Event.

I acknowledge that my failure to follow these Measures may result in being removed from the Event and all related activities without any refund or reimbursement. I am attending the event voluntarily and at my own risk and understand that by attending I risk being exposed to or infected with COVID-19 as a result of my actions or those of other attendees or participants including the venue’s employees and Tessitura’s officers, directors, employees or agents. I hereby release, for myself, my heirs and personal representatives, and do forever discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Tessitura, its directors, officers, staff, agents, members and representatives, from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of, in connection with, or relating to my attending or participating in TLCC including, without limitation, any illness, damages or injury resulting from my travel to and from, and attendance at, the Event, participation in events related to TLCC, exposure to an infectious disease (including COVID-19) or the manner in which TLCC or its related events and activities are conducted (collectively, “Claims”). I understand and agree that this Waiver includes any Claims based on the actions, errors, omissions, or negligence of Tessitura, its directors, officers, staff, agents, members, and representatives. If any provisions contained in this agreement shall be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, under any applicable law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions contained herein shall not, in any way, be affected or impaired.
